Yale Professor Stumped on Cross-Sex Benefits; Youth Dying From Suicide at Highest Rate in Decades: CDC

Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-Texas) demanded answers from a Yale School of Medicine assistant professor on which studies provide evidence of the benefits of cross-sex procedures. The questions came during a congressional hearing on June 15. Meredithe McNamara didn't offer a single study before Crenshaw's time ran out. The congressman is the sponsor of a bill that would remove funding from children’s hospitals if they provide such procedures for minors.
