UAW Expands Strike at GM, Stellantis; Senator Menendez, Wife Charged with Bribery

The United Auto Workers expanded its strike against automakers Friday, walking out of 38 General Motors and Stellantis parts distribution centers in 20 states.

Sen. Bob Menendez (D-N.J.) and his wife have been indicted on federal bribery charges, in connection with their relationship with three New Jersey businessmen.

New York Gov. Kathy Hochul appears to have shifted her position on illegal immigration. She has a message for those trying to come to New York state: “Go somewhere else.”
