Trump Awards Boeing With Fighter Jet Contract; Police Say No Indication of Foul Play in Heathrow Fire

President Donald Trump on Friday awarded Boeing the contract to build the U.S. Air Force's future fighter jet. The Next Generation Air Dominance program will replace Lockheed Martin's F-22 Raptor with a crewed aircraft built to enter combat alongside drones. Trump, the 47th president, said the new jet will be called the F-47. Meanwhile, Trump has denied a New York Times report that Elon Musk was due to be briefed by the Pentagon today about the U.S. military's plan for any war that might break out with China.

British police say there is no indication so far of foul play related to a blaze at an electrical substation that led to the closure of London's Heathrow airport, though counterterrorism detectives are leading the investigation into its cause.
