Rep. Says Debt Ceiling Standoff ‘A Dangerous Game’; DeSantis Fundraises for Marine Vet in Neely Case

Officials from both sides of the aisle commented on the U.S. debt ceiling over the weekend—but with different solutions in mind. Rep. Michael McCaul (R-Texas) said the standoff was “a dangerous game.”

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is helping to raise funds for the legal costs of Marine veteran Daniel Penny. Penny is facing criminal charges over the death of a homeless man he restrained on a New York subway train who witnesses say was “aggressively threatening” other passengers.
