Pentagon Makes $3 Billion Ukraine Accounting Error; Lawmakers React to Immigrants Housed in NYC School Gyms

The Pentagon says it accidentally overvalued U.S. military aid to Ukraine by $3 billion. The accounting error means there is still over $5 billion in funding available for Ukraine.

Lawmakers from both sides of the aisle have commented on New York City’s approach to the illegal immigrant surge. The city is now housing such immigrants in public school gyms and historic hotels.

The U.S. Navy plans to make changes in the wake of a series of suicides last year. In April 2022, three sailors from the USS George Washington died by suicide within one week.
