Blinken, Austin Urge Aid to Israel, Ukraine; Senate Hears from Mayorkas, Wray on Security Threats

Senators heard from Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin about national security on Tuesday. Both argued that supporting U.S. allies is vital to America's national security interests.

FBI Director Christopher Wray told a Senate hearing Tuesday that the Hamas terrorist attack on Israel could lead to the most significant terror threat to the United States since the rise of ISIS nearly a decade ago.

The Israeli military has said it destroyed the home of an exiled Hamas commander. The defense forces released footage of the blast in the West Bank.
