Multiple Victims at Iowa High School Shooting; Trump Asks SCOTUS to Overturn Colorado Ruling

Police have confirmed multiple victims from a shooting at a high school in Perry, Iowa just before the start of the school day on Thursday. Multiple law enforcement officials said the assailant is believed dead, and may have been a student.

Former President Donald Trump has asked the U.S. Supreme Court to overturn the Colorado ruling disqualifying him from the state's 2024 GOP primary ballot. President Trump's attorneys are arguing that Congress should determine a candidate's eligibility, and not individual states.

The Justice Department filed a lawsuit against Texas Wednesday over a law it enacted last month that makes it a state crime to illegally enter or reenter Texas from a foreign country.
