Hunter Biden In Court, to Plead Guilty; Sen. Tuberville to Keep Holding Up Military Promotions
Hunter Biden is in federal court in Wilmington, Delaware, where he is expected to plead guilty to federal tax charges. The Justice Department is recommending a sentence of probation.
Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Ala.) on July 25 said he is unlikely to budge on his hold on top military promotions and nominations before the five-week Senate recess begins at the end of July. He wants the military to overturn a policy that funds travel and leave for service members who get an abortion.
A salmonella outbreak has made at least 16 people sick across four states in the Northeast. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention say six of the individuals had to be hospitalized.
