The Supreme Court issued an order on Wednesday indicating that it would hear oral argument over Federal Reserve Board of Governors member Lisa Cook’s challenge to President Donald Trump’s attempt to fire her. “The application for stay presented to The Chief Justice and by him referred to the Court is deferred pending oral argument in January 2026,” an order from the court reads.
