FBI Director Argues for Key Spying Authorization; AZ Border Crossing Closed, Overwhelming Arrivals

FBI Director Christopher Wray argued Tuesday morning that the FBI must continue collecting data on foreigners outside the United States who pose a threat to national security. He's asking Congress to renew Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act.

The United States was forced to close a port of entry in Arizona on Monday because of an overwhelming influx of immigrants.

Hackers stole the data of nearly 7 million 23andMe users in October, including sensitive information such as names, birth years, and ancestry reports. Technology news website Tech Crunch first reported the figure on Monday.
