Tech CEO Elon Musk continues to ring the alarm bell over artificial intelligence, calling it a threat to civilization. Meanwhile, he opens up about the role Twitter might play in the 2024 presidential election.

A Moscow court on April 18 rejected an appeal from U.S. journalist Evan Gershkovich regarding pre-trial detention. That means Gershkovich will be incarcerated until at least May 29 while a spying case against him is investigated.

The clash between Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) and Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg continues. Jordan is trying to subpoena a former employee of Bragg's, and Bragg is resisting. Now, the House Judiciary Committee is responding.
