Bullets at Dallas Shooting Scene Contain 'Anti-ICE' Messaging, FBI Says; Trump Suggests Ukraine Can Win Back All Land Lost to Russia
Two people were killed in a shooting on Wednesday at a federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement field office in Dallas, and the suspected shooter is dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, federal officials said. The suspect engaged in an act of "targeted violence," Joe Rothrock, special agent in charge of the Dallas FBI, said at a news conference. Rothrock said rounds that were found near the suspected shooter contained messages that were "anti-ICE in nature."
After his United Nations address, President Donald Trump met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Tuesday to discuss the war in Ukraine. Following the talks, Trump signaled new support for Ukraine’s goal of retaking all of the territory it has lost to Russia. Trump’s comments mark a shift in his position on the Russia–Ukraine conflict. The president had previously raised the prospect of Ukraine ceding territory in order to reach a peace deal with Russia quickly.
